Hello World

Today my website goes live and though it’s immensely exciting, it’s also downright terrifying. Because technically, this is the first part of my writing living a public life instead of a private one. I’ve been writing for the better part of 7 years now, but all of those writings never had to face public scrutiny. No other eyes than my own were allowed to judge. Save from maybe my parents, and now my lovely beta-reader, I’m the only one that’s seen the words I spill onto pages from time to time.

But, I’ve been meaning to start journalling. I’ve been meaning to log my thoughts better and more consistently. And what’s a better motivator than other people? Because if I put this out into the world, there’s truly no excuses anymore. And there is something freeing to that.

Now, I’m not saying you can expect a post from me every day. Lord knows I struggle with keeping a consistent schedule enough as it is. I’m a university student running two businesses, and somehow, it just doesn’t seem smart to make this a daily commitment. But, I will be posting my reviews on here. I’ll be including some of my journaling blurbs, and perhaps I’ll pick up the pen more often now that I have this website up. I also plan to update you on my writings and other projects, so do keep an eye out for that.
